Root Canal Specialist, Dr. Burroughs is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and one of only five Board Certified Endodontists in the entire state of Kansas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UMKC’s School of Dentistry in 2005 before serving and being appointed as the Assistant AEGD Director in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps. Captain Jeff Burroughs received multiple awards for Clinical Dentist of the Year and Dental Educator of the Year. He was also the recipient of numerous medals and commendations, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal. After completing his active duty service commitment for 5 years in the U.S. Air Force, including humanitarian missions to Honduras and Guyana, Dr. Burroughs received his Endodontics Specialty Certificate in 2012 and began serving civilian patients across Kansas City, at Burroughs Endodontics in Overland Park, KS. For nearly a decade Dr. Jeffrey Burroughs has served the Kansas City area, including Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Lenexa and Kansas City, MO., with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in the specialty of endodontics.
